Saab 9-5 Record: 262 km/h on Ice!

Earlier, we wrote about the set speed records on land. How about to accelerate to the same speed, but on the ice ?

Enthusiast from Sweden Jarko M Andersson was not easily frightened and decided on its Saab 9-5 test a new approach to the Swedish racing, dispersed across the icy surface of the frozen lake on Storsjön ( village Orsunda , Sweden) to the maximum speed.

His SAAB 9-5 has a top speed of 262 km/h! Certainly unprecedented grip and speed were provided studded tires.

Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
