This year is exactly 77 years since Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget, SAAB, was founded to supply Sweden with domestically produced aircraft during times of war. A lot has happened since then and Saab has developed in many ways, but we are still in operation under the name Saab.
1937
Work begins on the first large assembly hall at the factory site in Linköping.
