Again Saab protects a life

Very tragic, but again Saab protects a life. Saab has saved the lives of occupants in Saab, but unfortunately not in the other car.

Police have named the 49-year-old man who was killed in a crash in Omagh, Co Tyrone (Town in Northern Ireland). The head-on collision involving a Toyota Yaris and a Saab 9-3 Vector was reported to police shortly after 10pm.

49-year-old ma was driving the Toyota and was taken to hospital for treatment before he died from his injuries. The driver of the Saab, a 40-year-old woman, was also taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, and She was later arrested.

Police have appealed for information and in particular for anyone who may have witnessed an earlier crash between the Saab and a white Peugeot 207.
