Because the owners of diesel Saab models also want more power, more torque and little less fuel consumption, A-Zperformance developed a next step tuning stage without software modification, which is necessary, if you want more power in the future. Better throttle response, more power and less fuel consumption in the whole rev range according their test and feedback from owners, who tested their new package.

Saab TiD Intercooler and pipes set

This is an intercooler and tube set for Saab 9-3 SS 1.9TiD and TTiD models. 50% bigger cooling interface, full aluminium core and forged, welded bags, thick cells and dramatically increased, stainless steel intake and inlet pipe set, which means better and more optimized burning for the diesel fuel. The Saab 1.9 TiD intercooler also available for the Saab 9-5, and Fits to the place of factory intercooler without modifcation. Prices of this set is  576,97 EUR.

Originally this is an Saab 1.9 TiD, with Hirsch stage 1 sw, which is 175 hp. The lower line is the original power and the upper line is with their  intercooler and tube set. As you can see, there is +6 hp advantage, better throttle response in the whole rev range and this intercooler can keep the power on same level on summer time too.

In 2010, as the sole blogger from the region, he participated in the Saab 9-5ng presentation in Trollhättan, Sweden. Alongside journalists from around the world, he got a firsthand experience of the pinnacle of technological offerings from Saab at that time. Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
