MapTun Rear diffuser is back in stock

Good news for all those who wanted to improve their Saab 9-3 with MapTun rear diffusor. MapTun Rear diffuser is back in stock, and this rear diffuser made from real carbon fibre, Fits Saab 9-3 2008- and up with dual round exhaust.

The flow around the vehicle was re-distributed depending on the rear-end shape. The notchback rear-end will accelerate the flow at the upper body and have a smaller wake.

At the same time the flow at the under-body will be reduced and the wake flow is directed into the ground. An automobile diffuser is traditionally used as a downforce generator, but it can also be effective for drag reduction for some type of bodies.

The diffuser generates a pressure recovery for both sedan and wagon, but for the sedan it also made the wake more symmetric. This combined effect is why the diffuser generates better drag reduction for the sedan.

MapTun Rear diffuser is great, looks great and has the effect, but it is quite expensive – € 394,88 excluding vat.

Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
