How to: Saab 96 in 3D Studio MAX

Lars Mortensson has created a very useful tutorial for 3D Studio MAX that explains how to box model the basic volume of a car – in this case a good old Saab 96.

The whole process of creation 3D model starts from the selection nice blueprint of the car you want to make or a photo straight from the side (front or back also helps). And it´s always nice to have some pics of the car from all kind of angles for reference.

Alongside journalists from around the world, he got a firsthand experience of the pinnacle of technological offerings from Saab at that time. Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
