Swede Jakob Bonds from a designbox.se studio did a great job – 3D models Saab 95 and Saab 96.
He Made a pair of SAABs using a free version of Google Sketchup. He Used in this project “the box technique” which is very powerful but requires an acute sense of 3D-space and accurate blueprints. A skill to be mastered by (a lot of) practice.

Jakob says: “Choose my fathers old SAAB, our family’s first car, as a suitable first serious 3D rendering project. Used the actual blueprints and a lot of original photos. Did the actual modeling using Sketchup Make on my Mac Book Pro.”
