Saab 9-7x followed by DJI Phantom 3

An owner of Saab 9-7x from Canada tested his known drone Phantom 3. “Follow me” drones are perfect when you want to get action footage of yourself skiing, cycling, snowboarding, running, surfing, or even driving.

Typically, high-end quadcopters like the DJI Phantom 3 Pro Professional can only fly for about 25 minutes and at no more than 50mph. Even these figures are very impressive. The drone uses Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) to do accurate positioning in the Follow Me mode. Because of this system, the drone will remain hovering at the same position in the air and having the camera follow/track a subject.

Saab owner gave the task drone to track his Saab 9-7x, and the drone to successfully done as much as 5 kilometers:

Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
