Swedish media paid a visit to new NEVS Factory in Tianjin, China to see the progress of their EV factory in China. Swedish journalists from Sveriges Radio and Dagens industri visited NEVS plant in Tianjin last week to see the progress and to hear more about their plans.
According to NEVS officials, They will begin producing their first NEVS 9-3 electric vehicle, with the aim of having cars and mobility services built in and around them available to Chinese consumers by the end of this year!
NEVS will begin with the 9-3 EV for the chinese consumers. Following this, they will start launching an entirely new portfolio of electric vehicles and expanding their geographical presence.
NEVS 9-3 – More than 60% of the car is new!
This vehicle has been developed for a totally new purpose, to be used as part of mobility solutions in cities. More than 60 per cent of the car is new; new parts and systems.
At first glance, the NEVS 9-3 looks exactly the same, but if you take a closer look, you will notice that only the doors, windows, roof and rear body-panels are the same. Also in the interior, a lot of details have been changed.
