Owning a Saab 9-5ng, one from the latest generation, is just a dream for most Saab enthusiasts, simply because they are quite rare. Also, there are very few in the secondary sale, so you have to work hard to find a good specimen. But like most Saab cars, they are generally well maintained, regularly serviced and many have upgrades (both in appearance and power).
One such specimen has just been found on sale – 2010 Saab 9-5 Aero XWD. According to the owner John McIntyre, he bought the car over three years ago now and he is the second owner. It was purchased new from Meyer Saab, and for the all wheel drive system and transmission services, had been brought back to him. Transmission was serviced this spring and the xwd was serviced last spring.
Also, the owner replaced the battery last fall. It has H&R lowering springs and 5th gen Camaro SS 355mm Brembo front brakes with EBC pads and rotors in the front and rear. And it has a custom cat back exhaust that was done professionally by Tim’s Custom Exhaust on Coon Rapids. It’s in great shape. Zero dents as he just had the entire car PDR’d. The paint has normal damage from 158k miles of driving, but nothing serious.
It has 155k miles, and runs and drives flawlessly. It will come with the factory springs, front brakes, and the complete factory exhaust system. Will also come with the Avant Garde wheels pictured as John no longer have the factory wheels since they no longer cleared the upgraded front brakes. There are zero rubbing issues and it drives solid. This car is his pride and joy, but he still chooses to sell. According to him, he is not interested in trade, he aim something sportier and makes big power.
Any questions, feel free to ask John A McIntyre, and for now he is asking for $8,200.
