Saab 9-5 NG Windscreen with HUD and rain sensor is back in production

For a while, owners of Saab 9-5 NG models in the UK had problems getting replacement car windscreen, but as we hear, this problem has now been resolved.

Good news from Orio AB (previously the Saab GB parts operation) in that the Saab 9-5 NG windscreen with HUD and rain sensor (Part number: 12827535) is back in production. Your local official Saab Service centre will be able to help on this & other genuine Saab parts.

After many months of being on back-order, they are pleased to confirm that production has re-started on Saab 9-5 NG Windscreen (with rain sensor, auto lights and HUD) Part No 12827535. The difficulty has been to source the central bracket housing the rain and auto light sensor, which has recently been resolved with a 3D printed housing.

Pilkington UK are just finishing production of 2nd batch for Orio UK, which will enable them to fulfil the remaining back-orders and have readily available stock for any new orders that need to be placed.
