The 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible Can Be Yours

Here is another rather rare Saab car, which is increasingly difficult to find in car sales ads. And for sure, there will be fewer and fewer of them, because it is a Saab Viggen Convertible from a limited series. Jordan Hamilton is offering his 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible for sale, dressed in black, with 46,938 miles on the clock.

The car has a clean title and he has carfax for any interested parties. The car mostly speaks for itself. Its exceptionally clean, and while he’d love to keep it, his interests have gone elsewhere. He took a series of photos of the car including the only visible dings on the body itself.

Perfect car condition

He asks all interested buyers to view the two videos, a startup video, and the top returning to closed. The seller has two keys, all-weather mats, sunshade, spare Saab wipers, and a few other things that will go with the car. According to the testimony of the current owner – SID is perfect, AC blows cold, windows all respond up and down as they should. Seats are in remarkable condition.

Regular car maintenance and additional work

Recent work Jordan did: Brand new Ventus V2s were mounted on the original five-spoke Viggen wheels which were powder-coated grey prior to his ownership. The tire shop who installed the tires let one wheel fall over, causing chips on the lip of the wheel, which can be seen in the attached photos. Every year synthetic oil changes and the PCV6 update was done to the car prior to his ownership. The oil pan was dropped by a local Saab shop; it is spotlessly clean.

The car has a “factory installed” paint protect package, which includes a clear hood bra and a very well fitted (with cutouts) bumper bra. Some scuffs exist on the clear bra, but the paint underneath is perfect.

The car does have some suspension upgrades as it sits: Maptun steering rack brace, GS rear ARB, GS Sixpoint subframe brace, GS control arms + bushings. The car has a Maptuner X OBDII device with Stage I and can revert easily to stock.

Maptun cat-back exhaust to replace the stock tip which was in a tarnished condition so the car is at near stock volume. The car was bone stock when Jordan received it, and He can assure any buyer that these upgrades were done to improve ride and any can be easily undone if necessary.

Selling Saab Viggen to enthusiasts

He is testing the waters here at $12,500. He’d much rather sell to an enthusiast who will appreciate it. This could be close to a Concours collector, or a weekend driver, or, daily drive it. Its been 100% reliable for him, including a 2,100-mile road trip home (He bought the car in Great Falls MT and drove it cross country home to Vermont.)
