The latest scientific research has revealed that tires stay in good condition longer than you think.

Some drivers pay particular attention to the age of tires and may worry about buying anything from last year’s or even older stock. Research has now shown that a properly stored tire can be considered new for at least 3 years from the date of manufacture, which is indicated on the side wall of the tire in the form of a four-digit number.

  5. When changing tires, check whether the old tires are unevenly worn. Properly mounted and carefully driven tires wear evenly. If your tires show signs of uneven wear, check the wheel angles and have your tires fitted and balanced by a professional tire shop.
