The second year saw even more participants, with around 100 people attending from across Europe. The main event takes place on Saturday night, where participants share a traditional cheese fondue at the Restaurant de la Vieille Fontaine, owned by the legendary Mariette, in the picturesque valley of Côty in the Jura Neuchâtelois.
The event began with a meet and greet where attendees had the opportunity to get up close and personal with a wide variety of Saab cars. From classic Saab 900s to modern Saab 9-3s, there was no shortage of beautiful cars to admire.
The highlight of the Saab Swiss Fondue Meeting, however, was undoubtedly the fondue. Attendees were treated to a delicious spread of Swiss cheese fondue, served in traditional Swiss caquelons. The fondue was accompanied by a selection of crusty bread, cured meats, and of course, Swiss wine.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Saab Swiss Fondue Meeting was unable to take place in 2022. However, the organizers did not let the pandemic get in the way of their passion for Saab cars and fondue. They organized the event on a smaller scale throughout the year, with limited numbers of participants.
