Reviving Saab: Keeping the Legacy Alive with Saab Parts Manufacturing in Trollhättan

TechROi and Svenska Saabklubben Reservdels AB Revive Saab: Keeping the Legacy Alive with Saab Parts Manufacturing

In a move that could be described as a lifeline for Saab enthusiasts and owners worldwide, TechROi, a company with a profound commitment to excellence, is stepping up to the plate. Their mission? To continue producing parts for Saab automobiles, even though these iconic vehicles haven’t rolled off the assembly line in over a decade.

We’ll delve into the fascinating partnership between TechROi and Svenska Saabklubben Reservdels AB, exploring their unwavering dedication to preserving Saab’s legacy and supporting Saab owners.

Saab: A Beloved Classic

Saab has an enduring place in the hearts of car enthusiasts and families alike. While the brand ceased production in 2011, the roads of Sweden and beyond still host more than 200,000 Saab vehicles, including classic models like the Saab 96, 99, and 900, as well as more recent releases such as the 9-3 and 9-5. These cars have remained cherished possessions, whether as collector’s items or reliable daily drivers.

However, over the years, the challenge has grown for Saab owners to source essential replacement parts, which is critical for keeping these iconic cars on the road. After all, even the most dedicated Saab aficionados can’t escape the realities of wear and tear and the occasional fender-bender.

A Rescuer Emerges: TechROi and Svenska Saabklubben Reservdels AB

Enter TechROi and Svenska Saabklubben Reservdels AB, two companies committed to ensuring that Saab owners have access to the vital parts they need to keep their vehicles running smoothly. Their technical consultants boast industry knowledge and experience, a testament to their commitment to providing high-quality services. This commitment extends to the production of Saab parts, as they’ve partnered with Svenska Saabklubben Reservdels AB to deliver on the promise of keeping Saabs on the road.

The Revival of Saab Parts

One might wonder why this partnership is so crucial. The numbers speak for themselves. Since 2016, over 100,000 Saab vehicles have met their end in scrapyards across Sweden. But the spirit of Saab lives on, with more than 200,000 of these beloved cars still gracing Swedish roads and a total of one million Saabs worldwide. As time passed since Saab’s bankruptcy in 2011, finding certain parts for both older and newer models became increasingly challenging.

TechROi and Svenska Saabklubben Reservdels AB are here to change that. The production of Saab parts is set to commence at the old Saab factory in Stallbacka, Trollhättan. This initiative encompasses both modern and classic Saabs, ensuring that owners can readily access the components they need to maintain their vehicles.

  • To Will Black> Saab will never come back it will be Electra EV which will settle in trollhätan to produce the Emily GT

  • To George Vavoulis> honestly, I wouldn’t say that. They kept Saab alive for a while, otherwise they wouldn’t have been able to produce cars in the last maybe 10 years before they closed. And the engineers tried their best to do whatever they wanted to do in order to keep the original spirit.

  • The question is when they will start producing spare parts.
I have a 2006 9-3 cabrio and to buy an “ice block” set I have to pay a small fortune. Unbelievable…
