Brothers Jakob and Mattis who are behind the project called “Saab 3D Print“, are trying to improve the user experience in Saab cars, which we know are no longer produced and do not have customer support. Therefore, the improvement and advancement of products such as Saab car falls on the shoulders of Saab enthusiasts such as Jakob and Mattis.

The skillful duo is constantly devising how to improve the atmosphere in the cabin of Saab cars, so their latest product uses the Coin slot located in the center console of Saab 9-5 for a brand new gadget. In fact, in this Coin slot, thanks to their skills in 3D printing, they inserted the much-needed USB chargers and Voltmeter today, which shows us the condition of our battery by displaying the voltage on a small digital display.

The duo made good use of the slot, and skillfully fitted USB charger and voltmeter that replaces the coin holder in Saab 9-5 (1997-2010). The voltmeter has a range of 5-30 volts and the two USB chargers support Qc2, Qc3 quick charge. By integrating this little gadget into your Saab 9-5 you will be able to easily recharge your phones and tablets on the go, and you will have useful information on battery status.

Fortunately, the installation of the gadget does not require any special skills, tools and time, and the upgrade itself comes with all the necessary elements, it’s all finished wired, just plug in the 12 volt outlet in the rear seat (Power is connected to the 12 volt socket in the rear seat).
