This week Isak Eriksson wrote to us about his Hirsch-Styling grille for Saab 9-5 NG project. He is our regular reader, an he think its absolutly amazing. Recently, created a his own Hirsch-Style Grill for his Saab NG 9-5 Aero 2011.
Since there never been any Hirsch/ performance honeycomb grille for the NG 9-5 to buy he made one himself.
Since he did not hear that there was a similar solution, It seems that this is his solution first in the world (?). If you know about a similar solution, feel free to let us know.
However, his Hirsch-Styling grille was delighted by the other Saab fans on social media after posting pictures of it. The Saab online community responded well, and suggested that it try to make a whole lot of these products. See photos, how do you like Saab 9-5 NG custom grille?
Isak’s Hirsch Grille Story
”Since the day I bought my NG 9-5 Aero I have always had in mind to personalize it in some way, I’ve always like to make things my own and have to something nobody else has. Since there’s not so much out there, in terms of styling, for the Saab NG 9-5 the idea of modifying it myself had hit me.
Hirsch – it puts a smile on every Saab owners face. I’ve always loved the look of the Hirsch-grille for the Saab 9-3 and I never really got why they didn’t make one for the NG 9-5. Since My car has the Hirsch front spoiler, Hirsch diffuser and Hirsch side skirts it was clearly only the grill, that docent exist, that was missing. So it was then I decided to build one myself, at least give it a try.
Before I got hands on my Saab Ng 9-5 Aero, that I love very much, I was actually looking for a white Saab 9-3 Aero with TX-package. I think the combination of a white car with grey details is one of the best looking combos ever make.
So after buying the NG 9-5 I was determined to go with a ”TX-look” and when we already had the front taken down, for the installation of the grille, we took the opportunity and wrapped all the chrome parts matte grey.”
Please make one for the 9-4x as well.
So…is he going to offer them for sale? How do we get in contact?
