A New Era for EV Electra and NEVS!
In a landmark move that signifies a promising future for electric vehicle innovation, EV Electra recently announced the acquisition of two groundbreaking projects from NEVS: the Emily GT and PONS. This strategic move not only revitalizes the legendary Stallbacka plant in Trollhättan, but also marks a significant milestone in the pursuit of sustainable and cutting-edge mobility solutions.
EV Electra’s Visionary Approach to Electric Mobility
EV Electra, a Canadian-based electric vehicle company, has been at the forefront of the electric mobility revolution. Their commitment to sustainability and innovation is evident in their recent ventures and expansion strategies. With the acquisition of NEVS’ Emily GT and PONS projects, EV Electra is not just investing in electric vehicles but is also embedding itself deeply into the rich automotive legacy of Trollhättan.
Emily GT is bought by EV Electra, But who are the EV Electra buyers?
EV Electra, the company behind the acquisition of Emily GT, is an electric vehicle manufacturer with a diverse and innovative portfolio. Originally a division of Jihad Mohammad Investments, EV Electra has evolved into an independent entity with a strong international presence, including operations in Canada, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Based initially in Lebanon, EV Electra has positioned itself as a pioneer in the electric vehicle industry, focusing on research and development to craft zero-emission Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). Their commitment to sustainability extends beyond their vehicle production; the company pledges to plant ten trees for every vehicle sold, underscoring their dedication to environmental responsibility.
The Emily GT: A Blend of Design and Technology
The Emily GT, initially developed by NEVS, captured the attention of the automotive world earlier this year. Engineered in a record time of just nine months, this vehicle stands as a testament to NEVS’ engineering prowess. Media outlets have extensively praised the Emily GT for its sleek design and advanced technical features, positioning it as a significant player in the electric vehicle sector.
PONS: Revolutionizing Urban Mobility
The PONS project, another NEVS innovation, is a comprehensive autonomous mobility system designed for urban environments. It reflects the growing trend towards self-driving technology in the automotive industry. EV Electra’s acquisition of the PONS project demonstrates their commitment to not just electric vehicles, but also to the future of autonomous urban transportation.
Strategic Acquisition and Future Plans
This acquisition by EV Electra comes after extensive negotiations, ensuring the continuation of these projects in Trollhättan. To reinforce their commitment to local development and manufacturing, EV Electra is establishing a subsidiary in Sweden. This move is expected to create numerous job opportunities and boost the local economy.
EV Electra’s Public Venture and Turkish Manufacturing Facility
EV Electra Ltd recently announced a Letter of Intent concerning a reverse merger, signifying its intention to go public. This strategic decision is poised to increase their market visibility and attract further investments. The company is also gearing up to begin assembling its first vehicles at its facility in Turkey, indicating a robust expansion plan.
Leadership Perspectives: A United Vision for the Future
Jihad Mohammad, CEO and founder of EV Electra, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, emphasizing the importance of in-house solutions and strong financial backing. His vision for the projects is not just confined to development but extends to large-scale production. He also acknowledges the significance of Trollhättan’s skilled workforce in realizing these ambitious goals.
Nina Selander, CEO of NEVS, shared her excitement about the acquisition. She highlighted the importance of maintaining the Scandinavian identity and continuity of the projects. This acquisition represents a collaborative dream for both NEVS and EV Electra, marking a crucial moment in their histories.
Continued Development and Future Announcements
Further details regarding development timelines, production schedules, and hiring processes will be communicated in due course. Notably, the Emily GT will retain its model name as EV Electra Emily GT, signifying a seamless transition and continuity of the brand identity.
A New Chapter in Automotive History
The acquisition of the Emily GT and PONS projects by EV Electra is more than just a business transaction; it’s a symbol of progress in the electric vehicle industry. This move not only preserves the legacy of Trollhättan’s automotive history but also propels it into a new era of innovation and sustainability. As EV Electra and NEVS embark on this exciting journey, the automotive world eagerly anticipates the advancements and innovations that will emerge from this partnership.
Yeah this will not go as planned.
Your right , It will give even better
Congratulations to Ev Electra! Quite a wonderful milestone…
Seen their other QUDS stuff? Yikes! Hope Emily’s pretty face doesn’t get hit by their signature ugly-stick!
Congratulations 🌹
الف مبرووووك ومزيد من التقدم والازدهار
Hope this venture will yield to a new powerful combination. A powerful blend of metal an tech that would be a benchmark in the ‘green” industry.
Your right , It will go even better
In the American Makert stock ticker DZCA EV Electra is going public. Time to invest.
Looks like a pipe-dream at best a huge investment scam at worst.
Another scam from EV ELECTRA, completely a fake company.
If I not wrong, this company anounced few yeas ago acquisition of Detroit Electric, later everybody know it was a fraud.
As a swede I never understood why so many great companies here do just fine, but Saab (nevs) needs a LEBANESE company to save them. Would’ve been better off selling Emily to Koenigsegg and potentially starting a new EV company with Koenigsegg as majority shareholder.
Victor Muller blåste Saab och tömde bolaget på alla tillgångar. Nu kommer nästa blåsning. Hur kan Nevs vara så blåögda!!? Så otroligt sorgligt att man går på det igen:(
Congratulations EV Electra!
To all the negative comments; who cares if it is a Lebanese origin company. Let’s broaden electrification internationally! NEVS was willing to sell. I hope the best and success for EV Electra on that exciting endeavour!
Congratulations
