This is Rare 1973 SAAB 99 EMS, fully restored nad Rust free,  street legal rally/race tribute car for sale or trade. For the United States market the Saab 99 came equipped with four round headlamps since local regulations did not permit rectangular units.

The seller states that it have all of the original parts not seen (save for the seats-too far gone and not enough room to store) bumpers and original Inca’s boxes of parts. Saab is completely stock and rust free with an almost entirely original interior and body.

The current owner is in the car put a lot of effort and work, which you can see in a special gallery restoration of this car. The current owner is ready to exchange-trade for  Porsche, BMW, Mopar… ?

SAAB 99 EMS

Model Saab 99 EMS or Electronic Manual Special, made its first appearance in January 1972. Available only in Copper Coral metallic, this 99 had alloy wheels, leather steering wheel, halogen headlamps (not US), a tachometer and a new Swedish built 1,985cc engine with Bosch Jetronic fuel injection. The EMS delivered 110hp at 5500 revs and, with a 0-100kph time of 11.6 seconds and a top speed of 170kph, it was a sporty performer.

His initial encounter with Saab cars took place back in 2003 when the first Saab 9-3 and sedan version were introduced. In 2010, as the sole blogger from the region, he participated in the Saab 9-5ng presentation in Trollhättan, Sweden. Alongside journalists from around the world, he got a firsthand experience of the pinnacle of technological offerings from Saab at that time. Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
