Tuner house KCPerformance from Netherlands turned this Saab 9-5 2.3 Turbo into a real road monster. KCPerformance was founded by Pieter Hermans and Kazimir van Hooijdonk, two gentlemen with a passion to tune and improve everything that rolls.
The results of their latest Saab project are fantastic – With one of their custom build B235L engine and turbo kit they raised the output to 514.4 hp & 742.1Nm! Optimizing engine performance has always been their main goal, not just an increase in power, but also a good usability of the power at hand.
This team of tuners took a stock Saab 9-5 and fully stripped it to a bare chassis. Then, thez then gave it a custom roll cage with 2 Corbeau seats and Luke harnesses.
Later, they followed this up with a full engine rebuild with custom pistons, new clutch Sachs Performance/KCPerformance, custom conrods, custom manifold and HTX32561 turbo, wheels 8” OZ Superleggera II… to make sure they get the most out of the engine they gave it a custom engine management with ALS and Launch Control.
What comes to driving a race car, your best friend is grip. That’s why tuning team gave this Saab a custom coil over set with custom chassis upgrades. We also upgraded the stopping power with a custom 345mm big brake kit with HiSpec 6 pot calipers. To complete the picture – tuners painted the car in Lethal Blue with black decals and a custom diffuser.
Fantastic work guys, we hope to see from your Tuning house more such Saab projects. See this project car at Dyno:
