Our saab friend from Greece Alex Sakellaris sends us an interesting report of the latest gathering of Saab owners and enthusiasts in that country.
Last Sunday (2/2/2020), the first and oldest Greek SAAB community (Hellas SAAB Forum), founded in 2010 by Mr. Chris Zervos, held its first event of year 2020 with the traditional “New years pita cut”. Old as well as new members and friends gathered to this beautiful event, some from distant locations such as the Greek Aegean islands!
All enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere washed in the warmth of the sun in the spacious Aventador roof garden, decorated with SAAB decals and emblems by the distinguished member Kyriakos, who currently owns two SAAB 9000 Aero, two SAAB 900 and one SAAB 9-5 SC!
Gifts and lotteries were organized by Nikolaos Spyriadis, an ex SAAB owner, yet a true friend of the Greek SAAB community and active moderator of the Hellenic SAAB forum (saabforum.gr). In the course of the lunch at the Aventador restaunt, live music enabled the participants to have a go at their singing talent which was a nice touch of entertainment! Their small friends also enjoyed their time utilizing the facilities for kids of the Aventador estate.
