How To Bury Saab 9-5ng “Safely”?!

Just as you can deduce from the title, the Saab 9-5ng is literally buried on a Taiwanese beach. We assume that the proud owner of this beautiful Saab 9-5ng Aero model wanted to take advantage of the low tide and take a good photo on the beach, but things went wrong.

Every car lover wants to take a beautiful photo with his four-wheeler. The desire for the best possible photo of the Saab 9-5ng Aero model almost ended in the destruction of the car, because the owner of the car fell into the sand and could not get out only with front-wheel drive. To make matters worse, the driver only pressed the accelerator pedal extra, and only with that he buried himself more and more in the sand.

Pulling the rope with the help of another car didn’t help either, because probably that towing car didn’t have enough traction in the beach sand either. To make matters worse, the driver got out of the car at one point even though he was in Drive mode, which is really unacceptable and dangerous. Unfortunately, due to the shortness of the video, we did not see how the car got out of the sand, but we assume that before the tidal wave, it was pulled out by a 4×4 vehicle with higher traction.

For over 15 years, Goran Aničić has been passionately focused on Saab automobiles and everything related to them. His initial encounter with Saab cars took place back in 2003 when the first Saab 9-3 and sedan version were introduced. At that moment, he was captivated by the car's Scandinavian design logic and top-notch engineering, and everything that followed stemmed from that first encounter. Later on, through his work at the editorial team of the Serbian automotive magazines "Autostart" and later "AutoBild," he had the opportunity to engage more closely with Saab vehicles. In 2008, he tested the latest Saab cars of that time, such as the Saab 9-3 TTiD Aero and Saab 9-3 Turbo X. In 2010, as the sole blogger from the region, he participated in the Saab 9-5ng presentation in Trollhättan, Sweden. Alongside journalists from around the world, he got a firsthand experience of the pinnacle of technological offerings from Saab at that time. Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
