Are you a fan of Saab? Then this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss! Two MY2014 Saab 9-3s are up for auction, both with minimal mileage and in pristine condition. These Saabs were the last ones built in Trollhättan by National Electric Vehicle Sweden (Nevs) before the company faced financial difficulties and stopped producing cars. With only two of these vehicles left, this is an exceptional opportunity for any Saab enthusiast to add to their collection.
What makes these Saabs unique is that they have never been sold before, although they were manufactured in April 2014. Instead, they were left forgotten in the factory for almost nine years. It wasn’t until 2015 that they were registered, and it wasn’t until a year later that Nevs started using them.
They have barely been driven in seven years, so the mileage on the cars is incredibly low. One car has only been driven 900 scandinavian miles (9.000 km), while the other has 1030 miles on the clock (10.300 km). This means that they are essentially new cars, with only minor blemishes The cars are in excellent condition, though they have suffered a few minor blemishes during their time in storage.
These Saab 9-3 Aero Turbo4s are both sedans and come in Jet black metallic color. Both of the cars are a Saab 9-3 Aero with a gasoline engine, delivering 220 horsepower and an automatic transmission. These vehicles are not only a piece of history but also a unique opportunity to own a rare, new Saab 9-3.
The two Saab 9-3s were built in April 2014 from leftover parts from the previous production run. While most of the 420 cars produced were sold to customers, these two vehicles remained in the factory until they were registered in 2015.
All 420 Saab 9-3 Aero Turbo4 sedans produced in 2013 and 2014 were identical, with only two color options: black or silver metallic. Customers had a choice between a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, but the two Saabs on offer have the latter.
Nevs did not have any Saab seats in stock, so the cars have Volvo XC90 seats with light grey leather upholstery. The vehicles have improved sound insulation compared to earlier models and LED fog lights, but otherwise, they are nearly identical to the Saabs produced before the company ceased operations in December 2011.
A newer Saab with shorter mileage will probably never be sold again. Kvdbil auction website estimates that the price at the car dealership would be SEK 245,000-250,000 (~$25,000) if the historic Saab cars were to be sold there. The web auction starts at SEK 120,000 for two historic Swedish cars that are closing an era. For now, we see one offer that raised the price to 150,500 SEK, which is about $14,600.
The Saab 9-3 has a cult following, and this sale is a unique opportunity for Saab enthusiasts to own a piece of history. The Saab 9-3 has always been known for its safety features and reliability, and these two cars are no exception. The cars’ minimal mileage, coupled with the fact that they have never been sold, makes them a collector’s item. Newer Saab cars are unlikely to ever be sold – unless the brand is resurrected.
In conclusion, if you are a Saab fan or collector, this is a unique opportunity to own two new MY2014 Saab 9-3 with minimal mileage. The cars are being sold by Kvdbil, and the auction house estimates the price to be around 200,000 Swedish kronor. These cars are in excellent condition and have never been sold, making them a rare find. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a piece of Saab history.

I wonder if it feasible to import a MY 2014 9-3 into the USA.
How much import to San Francisco, CA, USA?
Two things spring to mind here –
Firstly new or not they will probably have electrical faults like most Saabs.
Secondly who ever new Scandinavian miles were longer than any one else’s miles!
