Top fan Tony Lännbrink expressed his wish for Koenigsegg to take over the project, suggesting that the expertise and reputation of Koenigsegg could bring the Emily GT to fruition. This idea resonated with other readers, who see a collaboration with a well-established manufacturer as a promising path forward.

Some business-deals do not work, this one obviously didn’t.
But my hope is that the team in Trollhättan can find serious investors to help continue the project and get these fantastic vehicles out on the market.
I heared that somebody involved in the sales of Emily owns the Sonett trademark. Seems they have been on Mallorca recently…. One can only dream that this all falls into place…. Sonett resurrects in Trollhättan.
Is there any chance that NEVS can renegotiate in the future with SAAB Aerospace to reacquire permission to utilize the SAAB title on their future vehicles?
It can only get better after this!

Here we go again…
SVEN = NEVS 😃
I’m glad. It shouldn’t be used for a technical robbing. Also the genius of Saab needs to be preserved even if not in name. I will buy one when available
The Volkswagen Group could buy this concept car and release it under the Scania brand name.
Believe VAG have a huge amount of problems with their deep dive into bev’s and now appear to be changing course….the scania nameplate would be awesome….
Emily’s lines are just striking!! ❤
There are many questiens. Neither the original Saab firm nor Scania authorize their trademarks. Otherwise, NEVS hadn’t made cars for mre than ten years, they can’t build new cars without current technology.
13 years later & I feel like we’ve heard this all before, over & over again. It’s a great thought that they could revive some portion of what used to be SAAB, but I’m done holding my breath at this point.
Agreed! The investment required for production, at scale, is enormous, with the outlook for sales, in any significant number, questionable. If it were economically viable, in any form, a serious investor would have emerged well before now.
We are all commenting here as we all still care about the (defunct) Saab brand, but sadly, other than a small number of hand-built units, the likelihood of this ever going into serious production remains remote at best.

Koeinseg should get involved. They tried back in 2009 but backed out of the deal the last minute. 😠
NEVS have seriously impressed me on this one. They want to keep the next evolution of SAAB in Sweden and don’t want it to become a Chinese EV.
When can we bit it.?
This is an opportunity that’s going begging.
Would love to see someone say
Yes deal done
We will make a limited no of saabs going forwar
I almost hope Victor Muller could come back to NEVS with some energy and vigor, even despite his own Spyker having crashed and burned as many times as NEVS
