Here’s a some racing action from French tracks. The French association Team Zone Rouge 02 organizes car racing days, team regularly organizes races on the track Piste de Runs. This footage was recorded on one of their racing days, a little more than a month ago

This Saab 9-3 Aero (280hp) in particular proved its capability, and driver posted some respectable times considering it’s stock suspension.

In this video you can see a 280HP Saab 9-3 in action on the drag strip, racing against a allegedly stock VW Golf 5 R32 (250hp). Only at the start Golf was able to maintain the pace of Saab, but some time later he began to lag behind Saab:

Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.

  • what’s the point in comparing stock car to tuned car ?
    And even if tuned, it would have been fair if saab was 250KM too.
    I own a Saab but ther’re so many variables that these kind of races make no sense.
