Last week, in the Canadian city of Burnaby, an unusual, but not unusual traffic accident took place involving a Saab 9-3 Aero.
According to the local media there, the rescue unit in Burnaby received a call to help a lady who was trapped in a vehicle that fell from the upper level of the garage. When rescuers arrived on the scene, they found the Saab 9-3 Aero standing upright after it nosedived from the Burnaby parking garage to the lower level of the parking lot.
The Saab 9-3-only accident happened Wednesday around 5 p.m. near Lougheed Plaza, and local police said the blue 2007 Saab 9-3 went over a retaining wall and fell, landing on the front end on the lower garage level. As the representative of the local rescue unit said, they had to secure the vehicle by using a chain to secure the rear part of the Saab so that it would no longer slide and additionally stabilized it.
In this traffic accident, Saab was up to the task, and saved the driver – an elderly lady who was behind the wheel of a Saab 9-3. The lady driving the Saab was wearing a seat belt and did not suffer any serious injuries.
