Looking for a modern classic car (or youngtimer) that offers comfort, power, and a unique driving experience? Look no further than the Saab 9-3 SE 2.0T FSP. This coupe model is a rare find in today’s market, and the current owner in the Netherlands is selling it for just slightly more than 9,000 euros. In this article, we’ll explore the reasons why the Saab 9-3 SE is a car worth investing in.

The Saab 9-3 SE 2.0T FSP was a forerunner of the Aero model and came with a Full Sports Package (FSP). This package included a 200 hp B204R turbocharged engine, sport exhaust, sport chassis, 16″ three-spoke alloy wheels, painted bumpers with skirts, trunk spoiler, electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory, leather door panels, chrome handles, fog lights, perforated leather sports steering wheel, leather gear knob, and velour mats. What sets this car apart is its automatic transmission, which is a rare find for this particular model. The car also comes with a Saab audio AS3 system with a CD changer.

The Saab 9-3 SE 2.0T FSP Coupe boasts a luxurious and well-maintained interior, complete with electrically adjustable seats, leather door cards, and a perforated leather sport steering wheel. The complete wood package, including the rare middle tunnel, adds a touch of sophistication to the already impressive interior.

One unique feature of this Saab 9-3 Aero SE is its complete wood package. While you may occasionally see door card trims and dash fascias in wood, the center console is a rare accessory. Of course, this is a matter of taste, and if you prefer a standard gray plastic console, the seller will happily replace it for you. Another rare accessory that comes with this car is a dog guard in the trunk area.

The car’s first owner was a family in Belgium who bought it from the local Saab dealer. It was then used as a demonstration car by the importer Beherman Retail in Antwerp for six months before it was sold to the Heukelom family, who were the first private owners. The car has been in Belgium ever since and has only had two owners in its 22-year history.

His initial encounter with Saab cars took place back in 2003 when the first Saab 9-3 and sedan version were introduced. At that moment, he was captivated by the car's Scandinavian design logic and top-notch engineering, and everything that followed stemmed from that first encounter. Later on, through his work at the editorial team of the Serbian automotive magazines "Autostart" and later "AutoBild," he had the opportunity to engage more closely with Saab vehicles. In 2008, he tested the latest Saab cars of that time, such as the Saab 9-3 TTiD Aero and Saab 9-3 Turbo X. In 2010, as the sole blogger from the region, he participated in the Saab 9-5ng presentation in Trollhättan, Sweden. Alongside journalists from around the world, he got a firsthand experience of the pinnacle of technological offerings from Saab at that time. Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
