Saab 95 – one of the very first RHD cars from Saab

John Green wrote to us, and sent pictures of his favorite Saab – Saab 95.

He has recently unearthed a Saab 95 that is believed to be one of the very first RHD cars to roll out of the factory with a V4 engine fitted.

The chassis numbers indicate it was intended to be a 2 stroke but shows signs of adaptation for the new V4 (open deck) engine. According to John’s statement, The car is in terrible condition but a full restoration will begin later this year (2015).

When restoration is completed, it will be another great classic Saab 95.

Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
