Last week Antonio V., a huge fan of Saab cars, wrote us from Lisbon (Portugal). He owns 3 Saab cars and he often visits Saba rallies and classical car races. From such an event, he sends us a video report.

This racer is well known in racing circles and by Saab enthusiasts.

In last 8 at 10 of september, there was a festival of Classic cars, the Caramulo MotorFestival. Twelve years after its first edition, Caramulo Motorfestival continues to assert itself as the reference event of motor passion in Portugal, attracting more than 30 thousand people to the Caramulo mountain on the 8th, 9th and 10th of September. The Museu do Caramulo received 2,500 entries in just three days, the highest number since its foundation nearly 70 years ago, to visit the permanent car and art collection, as well as the temporary exhibitions “Black Box: Imaginary Museum” and “Ferrari: 70 years of motor passion”.

In addition to concentrations, visit the Caramulo Museum, and its collection of cars, make a competion, the history ramp of the caramulo. In that test was a 1965 Saab 96, which his wife filmed.

The Saab 96, with drivers Orlando Patricio / Bruno Bravo, came in 3rd place in the Sport Regularity category, overall, and won in the category Classics A:

For over 15 years, Goran Aničić has been passionately focused on Saab automobiles and everything related to them. His initial encounter with Saab cars took place back in 2003 when the first Saab 9-3 and sedan version were introduced. At that moment, he was captivated by the car's Scandinavian design logic and top-notch engineering, and everything that followed stemmed from that first encounter. Later on, through his work at the editorial team of the Serbian automotive magazines "Autostart" and later "AutoBild," he had the opportunity to engage more closely with Saab vehicles. In 2008, he tested the latest Saab cars of that time, such as the Saab 9-3 TTiD Aero and Saab 9-3 Turbo X. In 2010, as the sole blogger from the region, he participated in the Saab 9-5ng presentation in Trollhättan, Sweden. Alongside journalists from around the world, he got a firsthand experience of the pinnacle of technological offerings from Saab at that time. Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
