Saab Automobile and Beijing Automotive have reached a far-reaching agreement on the exchange of technology and future cooperation . Saab has concluded the sale of the previous models 9-3 , 9-5 and its predecessor technologies undercarriage BAIC – in .

Previous model 9-5 stops production and will be replaced by a new generation of 9-5 , which are the first models produced a few weeks ago in Trollhättan .

Tools for manufacturing the previous generation 9-5 will be transferred to China immediately after the cessation of production in a few weeks where they will be used to produce BAIC vehicles . Saab will assist BAIC and integrating and mastering the technology that will be used to produce BAIC vehicles and sold under its own brand .

Financial details are confidential , but the agreement is a long-term good for both sides . The agreement does not include the right to use the Saab name or model name of the vehicle.

Saab 9-3 models ( including the Convertible ) and the next-generation 9-5 will continue to be produced in Trollhattan , Sweden. In a separate process Saab and stakeholders working in the negotiations on the new owner of Saab , which should be provided by the end of this year .

Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
