Around a decade ago, this Sonett II V4 underwent an exquisite restoration orchestrated by its then-owner, a renowned SAAB enthusiast deeply rooted in the SAAB community. Not only did he own his own SAAB workshop, but he was also an active member of the Sonett club and played a pivotal role in organizing the SAAB festival.

The vehicle was in excellent condition even before the restoration, needing minimal bodywork. Astonishingly, the sills, typically a weak point, likely remain in their original state. When this particular Sonett emerged, another 1969 Sonett was sold, yet the high-back seats were retained. To set it apart from the rest of the fleet, predominantly red in color, the owner opted for a resplendent Sonett Yellow, introduced in the 1969 model year.
