A Well-Maintained Classic

Rust and Title Considerations

One of the critical aspects to consider when purchasing a classic car like the 1988 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible is its rust condition. This vehicle does have some rust on the underside components, as shown in the auction’s gallery images. However, given its age and the regions it has been driven in, this is not entirely unexpected. Prospective buyers should examine the provided photos and consider a thorough inspection to assess the extent of any rust and its potential impact on the vehicle’s longevity.

It’s also worth noting that this car is being sold on its New Hampshire registration, which is expired, as the state does not issue titles for vehicles of this age. Buyers should ensure they understand the registration and title transfer process in their state to avoid any potential complications.

  • Love to have my first TURBO, but I’d like to see my ’85 SAAB 900 turn 500,000 miles before I buy my forth SAAB

  • It says bring a trailer ,well I’ll be towing off with my ’85 900 to a shop to redo the seats in red leather, then to my shop to powercoat the entire engine like the multiple color sceam in the SAAB brochure of that TURBO year. Always wanted a Jerry Seinfeld car
