Yes, you read well, on the eve of this year’s Saab Car Festival in Trollhattan, NEVS has announced that The last SAAB has not been sold yet, and according to their estimates, this is The opportunity of a lifetime for all the enthusiasts who love SAABs and want to have something special in particular.

The last Saab to leave NEVS will soon be up for auction. It’s five-year-old, but brand new and unused! Auctioneer, starting price and terms of sale will be revealed at a later date. This seems to be the last SAAB made by NEVS, in 2014.

The car up for auction is a 220 bhp 2.0-litre petrol-powered silver Saab 9-3 Aero saloon, which, according to NEVS, was intended for crash test purposes and set aside from customer models.  This 2014 Saab 9-3 Aero that it says is the last of a batch of these 420 Saab 9-3 sedans that were produced between 2013 and 2014.

NEVS will put its 9-3 on display in Trollhattän this weekend during the annual Saab Car Museum Festival. A company spokesman said discussions are underway to determine whether the proceeds from the sale will be donated to charity.

It’s a historic car in that it’s the very last built of a particular make. We wouldn’t be surprised at all if it sold for over $30K. Careful observers also noticed the following: “Notice how they waited for it to be fully out of warranty before selling?”…
