The SAAB 900 Carlsson Bodykit replica

Saab 900 Carlsson

The famous Hungarian tuning house A-Zperformance SAAB Tuning works on a new interesting Saab project. Just to remind you, one of their more successful projects was the upgrade of the aerodynamic package for the Saab 9-3. What is interesting, this SAAB 9-3 Sportsedan bodykit is still available for purchase, The kit consists of 2 Bumpers with Carbon splitter + side skirts,  and price is 1070 EUR+Shipping.

Their new (aerodynamic) project is focused on a somewhat older model – Saab 900. It’s actually an attempt to create a replica of the famous SAAB 900 Carlsson Aerodynamic Bodykit.

According to the initial expectations of engineers, This replica kit will include 13 bodyparts, based on the OEM forms: front and rear bumpers, 2×3 side panels, 4 wheel archs and the big rear wing. For this Saab model, several successful body kits have been made (Let’s remember Enduro bodykit), but this is definitely the most beautiful.

Since the project is still in the beginning we do not have any more Professional photos, but in these photos we can see how this project is progressing. We hope that A-Zperformance team will successfully complete the project, and that the owners of the 900 model worldwide will have the opportunity to improve the appearance of their Saabs.

For over 15 years, Goran Aničić has been passionately focused on Saab automobiles and everything related to them. His initial encounter with Saab cars took place back in 2003 when the first Saab 9-3 and sedan version were introduced. At that moment, he was captivated by the car's Scandinavian design logic and top-notch engineering, and everything that followed stemmed from that first encounter. Later on, through his work at the editorial team of the Serbian automotive magazines "Autostart" and later "AutoBild," he had the opportunity to engage more closely with Saab vehicles. In 2008, he tested the latest Saab cars of that time, such as the Saab 9-3 TTiD Aero and Saab 9-3 Turbo X. In 2010, as the sole blogger from the region, he participated in the Saab 9-5ng presentation in Trollhättan, Sweden. Alongside journalists from around the world, he got a firsthand experience of the pinnacle of technological offerings from Saab at that time. Currently, Goran owns two Saabs: a 2008 Saab 9-3 Vector Sportcombi with a manual transmission, and a Saab 9-3 Aero Griffin Sport Sedan from the last generation, which rolled off the production line in Trollhättan in December 2011.
